As neurodivergents, we know that organization isn’t always our forte. But if we can make a system — and make that system fun — we’re much more likely to keep it all together. These are our favorite dopamine-inducing finds for staying organized all year long.
Executive FUNctioning
Ah, executive functioning. It’s not always fun, but it can be! These gifts add a bit more novelty to the everyday tasks we have to get done — and they’re fun to look at too!

Water on the go
Micro Hydro Mini Bottle | $20
Ever been so focused that you forgot to hydrate and then suddenly realized you’re incredibly thirsty but you don’t have any water nearby? This is for you. The mini water bottle is perfect for little sips on the go.
“I love keeping my mini hydroflask in my tote bag at all times. Then, when I’m out and about and suddenly realize I’m incredibly thirsty, I have a bit of water readily available.” – Brianna Schubert, Editorial Assistant

Our dream calendar
Skylight Calendar | $280
Do you rely on your calendar for everything? Us too. And visually seeing it in front of us at all times helps us not miss a beat when it comes to our schedule. The Skylight Calendar syncs with the calendar on your phone and can even sync up with everyone in your family or workplace’s calendar too, so everyone’s on the same page.

Cute catchalls
Ultimate two-in-one
Gantri Baltra Table Lamp | $198
A calming lamp and a tray all in one? Yes, please! Crafted in Brooklyn, New York, this lamp gives off all the mood lighting while also giving us a place to keep our keys, lip balm, or anything else we frequently lose. Our tip? Put this right by your entryway for some soothing light right when you walk in the door — and a place to always put your keys.

Pleated glass dish of our dreams
Byon Design Lori Bowl | $48
We love a catchall dish — a place to put all our “junk” and make it look nice. This one would be so classy on a coffee table or end table to hold fidgets, matches, hair ties, lip balm, and all the other bits and bobs that are lying around.

Cloud tray
Ceramic Jewelry Tray | $13
For a budget-friendly option, this ceramic cloud tray is a great catchall for small items, like jewelry or fidgets. This would be super cute on a bedside table or dresser!

Funky jewelry tray
Sweet Subtle Pretty Ring Tray | $7
For someone with lots of jewelry and not a lot of patience to hang it up on a jewelry organizer, this is the perfect gift! Simply drop each piece of jewelry in a little compartment, and voila: organization!

Funky stimmy visual tins
Designworks Ink Storage Tin | $12
This tin is an adorable catchall for taller objects, like scissors and pens or makeup and brushes. The funky design is also a fun visual stim; we just love looking at it!

Pouches
An adorable whale pencil case
Donna Wilson Whale Pencil Case | $38
For a catchall on the go, try this adorable and playful whale pencil case. The days of digging around the bottom of your bag for a pen are over.

Perfect pouch set
Baggu Go Pouch Set | $40
If you like to carry a lot and are always moving things from one purse or tote to another, putting a smaller pouch within the bags is our hack for always knowing where things are. That way, you can just transfer the pouch around — and you always know what’s in them.
“I use the mini bag from this set for all of my ‘purse toiletries’ — things like lip balm, bandages, medications, a small mirror. It helps me transfer them between all of my purses and tote bags without losing anything in the process.” – Brianna Schubert, Editorial Essistant

Drop Zones
Different than catchalls, drop zones are trays that you buy multiples of to create a system for always knowing where things are. Get three “lip balm” trays in the same color, put them in various spots around your home, and only put lip balm in those designated spots. Do another color for your headphones, your TV remote, your phone, even. That way, you can easily find what you’re looking for because it’s always in 1 of 3 spots, all tied together with a satisfying visual unity.
Stackable and circular
Sonnihaus Medium Stackable Tray | $19
Quite possibly the dream drop zone dishes, these trays from Sonnihaus come in a variety of sizes and colors. We love the small circle trays for lip balm, earbuds, and jewelry, while the medium trays are the perfect size for glasses, a small TV remote, or your phone.

Eye-catching option
Taylor Elliot Designs Square Trays | $25
The funky colors of the trays from Taylor Elliot Designs are great options for a whole system of drop zones throughout your home.
